My mother was an antique dealer and before she passed away she had verbally told me about a couple of pieces this being one that were worth quite a lot. This vase she said had actual gold accents, and was her most prized piece she had in the house. I don’t remember much else she told me about it unfortunately and she hadn’t written about anything she left me. I noticed it might also have an irregularity as the glass is dented in between the start and end of the image on the vase. I have a bunch of pictures of the whole image around the vase, and what might be a signature.

Description and history
This is a hand decorated, hand painted, fine quality Green Glass Vase circa late 18th Century.
First, this vase is a one of a kind vase. We can see it was hand made of green glass, and hand painted over the glass. The gold decoration has roughness, so it tell us the gold content is high. Keep in mind that flat gold decoration is typically hand painted over the glass with very low gold content. This is not the case.
There is a painted on the middle of the vase. I couldn’t make out the painting, so I think it is an original scene. Of Course it was inspired by painting from that time, see for instance this Painting of Goya, that is similar in style:

The painting is signed, but I couldn’t make out the signature. I think the signature is unreadable, and so the information of the artist’s name has been lost. Regarding the age of this vase, my best guess is it was made circa late 18th century. The most plausible origin is Spain or France.
In my professional opinion, this antique is a true treasure. It combines modern-age technology with a classic aesthetic, and I’d be very surprised if it didn’t fetch a pretty price on the open market. Whatever your asking price is, I’m sure that there will be someone out there for whom this antique is the perfect purchase. Its value will only increase over time, so the buyer would be investing in more than just a beautiful addition to their home; they’d be adding to their investment portfolio as well.
