This is a professional appraisal report provided upon request. It contains a detailed description and valuation of your antique. This document also includes information about how to sell your item, and about the Valuation method we’ve used.
This report is designed to give you an appraisal value for the antique you own, whether it is a furniture, china, glassware, or other types of antique or collectible items. The information provided will help you to understand your piece and its value. It also provides an appraisal value in US dollars, as well as how to sell it. This report is not intended to encourage you to sell your antique, rather it aims to provide information on your antique's value so that you know what steps to take if you do wish to sell.
This is an Antique stoneware teapot. First, we can see there is no mark on the bottom:
It is totally normal (and desired) to see no marks at all. From the pictures, I conclude this piece was handmade, as it is extremely irregular. About its age, it's very difficult to estimate the age of this piece, but I believe this antique is circa the 19th Century. Something peculiar about this teapot is the feet. You normally don't see stoneware teapots with feet, as the bottom of the teapot doesn't get hot. The purpose of the feet are decorative.
The shape of this teapot is irregular, as it is hand made. The original clay used has a lot of contaminants, so I think this piece is really an Antique circa 19th century. I don't think it is older because the firing process was really good and the interior is glazed. About the shape, the teapot spout is really large. This size is commonly found in Asian (Japanese teapot are the most common). In my opinion, this piece is Asian, you can find similar Antique asian teapots that are sold with a wooden teapot vase and a ceramic cap.
In my professional opinion, this antique is a true treasure. It combines modern-age technology with a classic aesthetic, and I'd be very surprised if it didn't fetch a pretty price on the open market. Whatever your asking price is, I'm sure that there will be someone out there for whom this antique is the perfect purchase. Its value will only increase over time, so the buyer would be investing in more than just a beautiful addition to their home; they'd be adding to their investment portfolio as well.

It’s much more difficult to sell something when the potential buyer can’t be sure it is authentic. Sellers should use a well thought out descriptive guides, like this report. A good lead generation service should be helpful in establishing these relationships with online buyers, and an effective way to do this is through a classified ads. If a buyer asks for more information, giving them some valuable facts well ahead of time will get you more sales because your reputation increases and real customers are the ones who ask for more details.
