This, without suggesting authenticity,, seems much in the style of 17th century Jacob van Ruisdael or Jan von Goyen ;and ,to a lesser extent,19th century, Wignand Nuijen. Large white initials ,E.J,P.G.,,bottom left corner,, seem odd.

Description and history
This is a painting circa 19th century of a Dutch Country Scene signed E.J.P.G. First of all, I used our image recognition software to try to find similarities of this paintings with the database of know paintings. Here are the results:
As we can see there is no match, so it means the scene is original. Then, I used the image of the back of this painting to find it is age:
The frame constructions can tell us the age of this piece. The nails of the frame are circa 19th century, you can see they have head and the head is irregular. If this painting was from circa 17-18th Century, we should see irregular nails without head (they were hand forged). So with this information, we can be sure about the age of this piece.
Regarding the artist, the signature is quite difficult to interpret as it is signed E.J.P.G. In the database there is no artist listed that can fit, so sadly, I find impossible to find the artist’s name with so little information. From the provenance, it is most likely this is a painting made by an unlisted, local artist, that is unlisted.
With all this research, I am able to determine its value.

I would recommend selling it online, there are many ways to do this, for instance: Post an ad on Craigslist. Use eBay to sell antiques online. Post a listing on the Etsy marketplace. It’s much more difficult to sell something when the potential buyer can’t be sure it is authentic. Sellers should use a well thought out descriptive guides, like this report. A good lead generation service should be helpful in establishing these relationships with online buyers, and an effective way to do this is through a classified ads. If a buyer asks for more information, giving them some valuable facts well ahead of time will get you more sales because your reputation increases and real customers are the ones who ask for more details.
